About the Jordan Pass

The Jordan Pass is the official tourist package for Jordan. Purchase the Jordan Pass and you will have prepaid for all the Kingdom’s most visited sites, saving you time and money.

Visit Petra, see Jordan’s most famous castles, and learn more about the history of the nation all with one ticket. As a Jordan Pass holder, you will be able to skip the queues, simply show your pass at the entrance for fast access to over 40 of the Kingdom’s most famous sights.

Provided you spend at least 3 nights in Jordan, the visa on arrival fees are included with the Jordan Pass. Show your pass at the airport to enter without paying for the visa.

The Jordan Pass can be obtained by completing a simple and straightforward online application form. You will need to provide basic personal details and passport data and pay the fees using a debit or credit card.

Note that Jordanians and visitors from Arab countries have free access to tourist landmarks in Jordan and therefore do not need to obtain the Jordan Pass.

Documentation Requirements for Jordan Pass

To apply online for the Jordan Pass, you will need to provide a few basic personal details, a current email address, and passport data. Your passport must be from one of the eligible countries.

Once you have submitted the online application, all notifications and updates will be sent by email.

The processing time is within 1 day, however, some applications may take longer to process, up to 2 days.

Online Application for the Jordan Pass

To apply online, you must have a valid passport, email address, and a credit or debit card.

All the information provided on the application form, such as first and last names, place and date of birth, address, gender, passport number, and nationality, must be exactly as they appear on your passport.

You will need to show your passport or identity card with your Jordan Pass at the entrance to attractions so it is important that the details match.

Getting a Visa on Arrival with Jordan Pass

Visa fees are waived when you show your Jordan Pass at the airport. You will need to complete the visa application when you arrive, but you will not have to pay anything.

On departure, officials will verify that you have spent at least 3 nights (4 days) in Jordan. If you have spent fewer than 3 nights in the country you will be required to pay the visa fees before boarding the return flight.

Note that you will not be reimbursed if you obtain your Jordan visa separately online. Visa fees are only included when purchased as part of the Jordan Pass package.

Jordan Ports of Entry and Exit

Visas on arrival are issued at the following ports of entry in Jordan:

  • Queen Alia International Airport (Amman Airport)
  • Sheikh Hussein Bridge (Jordan River Bridge)
  • Wadi Araba border (Eilat-Aqaba border) visas on arrival only for Jordan Pass holders

Jordan Pass holders can enter and exit through different ports. Visas on arrival are not available at King Hussein Bridge crossing.
